PricewaterhouseCoopers announced that Rear Admiral Norton Joerg, United States Navy, has joined the firm as a director in PwC’s advisory practice. In this role, he will service a wide range of clients, including those in the financial services and aerospace and defense sectors.

Rear Admiral Joerg joined the Navy in 1976 and retired in December 2008 with 32 years of active and reserve service. During his combined military and civilian careers, he has served in numerous Navy leadership roles and has held senior positions in both the financial services industry and in the practice of law.

As a senior uniformed Navy lawyer, Rear Admiral Joerg advised senior Navy civilian and military leadership and major Navy commanders on a myriad of complex legal and military issues. In his civilian capacity, as both a lawyer in private practice and as an executive with the Toronto Dominion Bank, Rear Admiral Joerg provided advice and risk analysis to corporate and private client management regarding complex matters of finance, security, enterprise management, and legal liability and exposure.
