Former General Motors' General Counsel Robert Osborne will be rejoining law firm Jenner & Block in September. He will practice in the firm’s corporate law department.

In 2006, Osborne became general counsel at GM, where he oversaw more than 200 lawyers at the auto manufacturer and assisted in the company’s pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and subsequent emergence as GM.

Prior to joining GM, he previously was a senior partner and chair of Jenner & Block’s corporate department. Earlier in his career, Osborne was a senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis.
