PricewaterhouseCoopers has announced that Carlos Castillo, a former administrator at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has joined the firm’s Public Sector practice. Castillo will focus on providing business advisory services to the federal government in areas ranging from financial and program management to security and data concerns.

Castillo is respected internationally for emergency management leadership and has a career that spans more than 27 years in county and federal government. Prior to joining PwC, Castillo served as the assistant administrator of the Disaster Assistance Directorate at FEMA, where he managed the disaster declaration process and implemented assistance programs for communities affected by natural disasters. He also is a frequent speaker on disaster and emergency response issues at conferences and forums throughout the world.
