Keith Darcy, former executive director of the Ethics & Compliance Officer Association, has joined Deloitte's governance, regulatory and risk strategies enterprise compliance practice as a senior advisor.

During his decade-long tenure with the ECOA, Darcy worked closely with ethics and compliance officers to understand and address the evolving complexities of the global marketplace.

He previously served on the boards of E*TRADE Bank, where he chaired the nominating and governance committee and was a member of the audit committee, and New York National Bank (now a division of Hudson Valley Bank), where he was a member of the compliance committee.

Darcy also previously served as chief executive of IGM, an insurance company jointly owned by General Reinsurance Corporation and Frank B. Hall & Company (now AON). He also previously served as chief executive of a related derivatives trading company, and held senior positions at Prudential Securities (acquired by Wachovia).

At Deloitte, Darcy joins former FBI cyber-division special agent Mary Galligan and Elisabeth Hagen, currently serving as under secretary for food safety at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, who both recently joined Deloitte's advisory business.
