$146.2 billion Ford Motor Company has elected Richard Gephardt and Anthony Earley to its board of directors, effective immediately. At this time, neither Gephardt nor Earley have been assigned to any committees.

Gephardt is the former Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives and served 14 terms in Congress. He is currently president and CEO of consulting firm Gephardt Group, and senior counsel and strategic advisor for legal services provider DLA Piper Rudnick.

Earley is Chairman and CEO of DTE Energy, a position he has held since 1998. DTE Energy owns electric utility Detroit Edison, and Michigan Consolidated Gas Company.
