The Financial Accounting Standards Board has appointed Bret Dooley to its Emerging Issues Task Force. He will serve a five-year, renewable term, beginning June 1, 2014.

The EITF assists FASB in improving financial reporting through the timely identification, discussion, and resolution of financial accounting issues. Members of the EITF are chosen from a cross-section of FASB's constituents, including public accounting firms, preparers of financial statements, and users of financial statements.

Dooley is a managing director and director of corporate accounting policies at JPMorgan Chase, where he is involved in accounting and disclosure matters affecting the financial services industry, including financial instruments, derivatives, and securitizations.
