Fannie Mae has appointed Bradley Lerman as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective Oct. 1.

Lerman has over 25 years of legal experience. He joins Fannie Mae from Pfizer, where he served as senior vice president, associate general counsel and chief litigation counsel. During his time there, he was responsible for leading the company's product and commercial litigation, government investigations, and patent litigation teams. 

Prior to Pfizer, Lerman served as partner at law firm Winston & Strawn and was co-chair of the firm's white collar defense practice group. Previously, he served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of Illinois from 1986 to 1994, holding various supervisory positions in the white collar prosecution divisions.
