EXCO Resources Appoints New Board Member

EXCO Resources, an oil and natural gas company, has appointed Wilbur Ross to its board of directors, effective March 2.

Ross currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of WL Ross & Co, a private equity firm. Previously, he was executive managing director of Rothschild for 24 years before acquiring that firm's private equity partnerships in 2000.

He also serves as a director on several boards, including ArcelorMittal; AirLease; Assured Guaranty; BankUnited; Sun Bancorp; and Navigator Holdings, among many others.
