Exa Corporation, a fluids simulation and product engineering company, has appointed Stephen Sarno to the newly created role of vice president of finance and chief accounting officer. He will assume responsibility for all accounting and financial planning controls, processes and procedures.

Prior to joining the company, Sarno served as senior vice president of finance and corporate controller at Education Holdings 1, formerly The Princeton Review. Previously, he served as vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at consulting company Sapient Corporation, as well as over ten years at PwC.
