EthicsPoint, a firm that helps organizations raise visibility and mitigate operational risk, today announced the Spring ’10 update to Issue and Event Manager, including enhanced workflow, user interface enhancements and third-party integration for use in loss prevention, specific to the retail sector.

The civil recovery add-on is a fee-based service offering that will enable retail customers to track civil damages or penalties under the appropriate state statute relating to retail theft. The new updates will allow customers to analyze where losses are occurring, identify trends to prevent future losses and recognize when assets have been recouped by the vendor on a real-time basis. In addition to the civil demand applications, the Spring ’10 release includes a number of usability enhancements, focusing on improvements to existing features and functions.
