Energistics, an upstream oil and gas standards consortium, have elected Duncan Junor, Halliburton's senior director strategy and corporate development, and Steve Roberts, vice president of BP's Field of the Future flagship program, as chair and vice chair, respectively.

Junor will succeed Cindy Reece of ExxonMobil, and Roberts will succeed Mark Greene of Accenture, both of whom completed successful two-year terms as chair and vice chair.

At Halliburton, Junor coordinates strategic direction and business growth, in particular driving Halliburton's Digital Asset programs and initiatives. He has 25 years of experience in the exploration and production industry, primarily in upstream development and midstream production areas.

Roberts has worked across the globe spanning a 33 year career including exploration, appraisal and mature field development roles before moving to BP's IT organization in 1999 to help drive standard solutions. He returned to a subsurface technology role in 2011, where he is now accountable for driving the development and adoption of BP's Field of the Future initiatives.
