Electronics For Imaging, a digital printing company, has appointed Eric Brown to serve on its board of directors. He also will serve on the board's audit committee.

Brown brings a wealth of financial and operational experience to the role. He is currently executive vice president, chief financial officer of Electronic Arts, a $3.7 billion global interactive entertainment software company. Prior to his current role with Electronic Arts, he was chief operating officer and CFO at McAfee. He is also the former president and CFO of MicroStrategy, the parent company of Strategy.com, where he also served as CFO.

Earlier in Brown's career, he was co-founder, CFO, and vice president of business development of DataSage, after holding various financial management positions at the Haagen-Dazs Company, working in Hong Kong and Paris.

Brown's appointment increases the Electronics For Imaging board to seven members, with five of them independent.
