Deloitte Financial Advisory Services has appointed Bob Clarke Midwest regional managing partner, based in Chicago. He succeeds John Trinta, who led the Midwest Deloitte FAS practice since 2007.

Clarke has 31 years of experience, primarily in the healthcare industry. He also has served as the Midwest regional leader of Deloitte FAS’s Healthcare practice. In his new role, Clarke will be responsible for management functions of the Deloitte FAS practice that encompasses offices in Chicago and Minneapolis.

He will continue to advise leading organizations in the health insurance/plan, health provider and life science sectors on litigation and dispute issues, financial and business matters, and accounting and financial investigations. He also will continue to serve as national leader of the Deloitte FAS Healthcare practice.

Additionally, Trinta was named managing director of Deloitte North American Financial Advisory, which is part of the broader effort of the North American member firms of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu to advance borderless client service. During his 28-year career at Deloitte, Trinta has served in many leadership roles. In addition to his position as Midwest Deloitte FAS regional managing partner, he also was a member of the Deloitte Tax U.S. board of directors, as well as Midwest regional managing partner and Midwest regional managing partner for strategic clients for Deloitte Tax.
