Covidien, a provider of healthcare products, has appointed Gregory Andrulonis as treasurer and vice president, effective immediately. He assumes this role from Kevin DaSilva, who will continue to serve as chief financial officer and vice president.

Andrulonis previously served since 2007 as vice president and assistant treasurer of capital planning and markets at Covidien, responsible for all aspects of capital markets, capital planning and credit functions. Prior to that, he served as director of capital markets for Tyco International. He also served as regional treasurer for Latin America at Lucent Technologies. He has held several management positions in treasury, credit and banking earlier in his career.
