Cooper Tire & Rubber Company has appointed Stephen Zamansky to vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective April 4. Zamansky will succeed Jim Kline, who has announced his retirement effective May 31, after eight years of leading Cooper's legal department.

Zamansky joins Cooper from Essar Minerals Americas (former Trinity Coal Corporation), where he most recently served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary.
