$246 billion ConocoPhillips today announced the appointment of Gary Russell as general auditor and chief ethics officer of finance. Russell, previously general manager of investor relations, finance, replaces Glenda Schwarz, who will become vice president and controller of finance.

The company also appointed E.L. Batchelder as senior vice president and chief administrative officer. Batchelder, previously the senior vice president of services and chief information officer, will report to Chairman and CEO Jim Mulva.

Additionally, the company appointed Rand Berney, formerly vice president and controller of finance, as senior vice president of corporate shared services; and Clayton Reasor, currently president, U.S. Marketing, as vice president of corporate affairs. The president of U.S. Marketing will be named at a later date.

All changes are effective today.
