Welcome to the new Compliance Week. Expanded and redesigned at the request of subscribers, Compliance Week now offers a host of new features and improved offerings. Among our most notable changes are the following:

NEW FEATURES

Resource Exchange (Share Policies, Checklists, More)

Thought Leadership (Legal, Accounting Firm Guidance)

New Blogs (Bruce Carton, CW Editor Matt Kelly, Others)

Resource Exchange: An interactive forum where subscribers can share and download internal policies, checklists, questionnaires, surveys, process maps, charters, risk matrixes, assessment tools, job descriptions, or other documents related to compliance and risk programs. The Resource Exchange already includes hundreds of documents submitted by public company executives.

Thought Leadership: A new searchable database of hundreds of law firm memos and accounting firm guidance on topics ranging from FIN 48 to attorney-client privilege. The collection also includes White Papers on critical GRC issues, from records management and e-discovery to spreadsheet compliance and XBRL.

Blogs: In addition to our esteemed columnists like former SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt, Compliance Week now publishes daily blogs on critical risk and compliance issues. Among our new bloggers is Bruce Carton, a former senior counsel in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement, who will make regular contributions on critical enforcement and litigation issues.

“Above the Fold” Layout: In the past, subscribers have bemoaned the physical layout of Compliance Week’s electronic newsletter and Website, which required considerable scrolling. Our new design is wider and more compact, enabling subscribers to get a quick view of all the key developments without interminable scrolling.

Improved Navigation: A new navigational bar with pull-down options provides easier access to critical databases, columnists, topical areas, and more.

A Better Window: Some of Compliance Week’s most dynamic content has, in the past, been hidden from view. For example, did you know that Compliance Week posts Help Wanted positions throughout the week? Our new design provides a better window into the depth of our content, enabling us to inform subscribers of new listings, events, Webcasts, research, and other offerings on a daily basis.

And More to Come! Additional databases and interactive features will be added to the site in the coming weeks and months. Some of those data offerings—such as a state-by-state database of security-breach disclosure laws—will be invaluable research tools for compliance executives. Others, like our interactive Experts Database, will enable subscribers to share tips and tactics with their peers.

We are eager to hear your thoughts on our new features and format, as well as features you’d like to see in Compliance Week. Click here to provide feedback, or feel free to email me directly.

Thank you.
