Elizabeth Sacksteder, former deputy general counsel and global head of litigation and regulatory investigations for Citigroup, has joined the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as a partner in its litigation department, where she will focus on complex litigation and regulatory matters.

In her role as deputy general counsel and global head of litigation and regulatory investigations, Sacksteder supervised an 1,800-person legal department in all litigation and regulatory disputes worldwide for a global financial institution with a presence in more than 100 countries, approximately $2 trillion in assets and more than 250,000 employees.
