CGX Energy, a Canadian-based oil and gas exploration company, has appointed Tralisa Maraj as controller and chief accounting officer. Additionally, the company has appointed Michael Stockinger as chief operating officer.

Maraj, an oil and gas accountant with over 15 years experience, previously worked for Remora Energy Management. She also supervised teams of professionals, leading audits at several U.S. and foreign oil and gas public companies on behalf of PwC.

With over 35 years experience in drilling operations and fast tracking production, Stockinger most recently was the project manager for Murphy Oil's offshore exploration in Suriname and Australia, as well as drilling manager for Remora Energy Management in Colombia. Previously, he spent 20 years at Conoco, holding senior operation positions, and, earlier in his career, worked with Kerr McGee Corporation and Texaco.
