CenterPoint Energy has promoted Kristie Colvin to the role of chief accounting officer.

Colvin joined the company in 1989 and has served in a variety of financial roles with increasing responsibility. She has experience in SEC reporting, consolidations, accounting research, property accounting, tax accounting, budgeting and financial planning and analysis.

In her new role at CenterPoint Energy, she will be responsible for the company's accounting function, internal and external financial reporting as well as internal control systems and processes.
