Cavico, an infrastructure development company based in Vietnam, has appointed John McNicholas to its board of directors as an independent board member. He also will serve on the audit and compensation committees.

Currently, McNicholas is president of Vineyards, LLC, serving in this capacity since the company's inception in 2007. Previously he served as CEO of Penloyd, LLC, a manufacturing company based in Tulsa, Okla., from June 2003 to July 2007. Prior to Penloyd, he was Chief Operating Officer for Wachovia Insurance Services and Chief Operating Officer of Thunderbird Moulding Company.

McNicholas has significant financial experience serving as the Chief Financial Officer of American Wood Moulding, working as a Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and an auditor for Deloitte Touche.
