Carrier IQ, a mobile network company, has named Magnolia Mansourkia Mobley as general counsel and chief privacy officer. In her new role, Mansourkia Mobley will focus on accelerating and broadening consumer privacy.

Mansourkia Mobley joins Carrier IQ after a 12-year stint with Verizon, where she most recently served as vice president and assistant general counsel of privacy. In that capacity, she was responsible for privacy compliance across Verizon's business units, and for driving a culture of privacy across the organization.
