The Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, a Canada-based financial institution that manages funds primarily for public and private pension and insurance plans with $131 billion in assets, has announced the departure of Susan Kudzman as executive vice president and chief risk officer.

After a long absence on sick leave, Kudzman has decided not to resume her duties at the Caisse, the company has announced. Kudzman joined the Caisse in 2005 after serving as a vice president at Laurentian Bank and chief human resources officer at BCE Emergis.

The Caisse is recruiting globally for the position of chief risk officer. In the interim, Claude Bergeron, executive vice president of legal affairs and secretariat, will be acting chief risk officer.
