$4.6 billion Brightpoint has appointed Cynthia Lucchese to its board of directors. She will serve on the audit committee.

Lucchese has been the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Hillenbrand, since January 2008. Previously, she had served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Thoratec Corporation. Prior to that, she worked for Guidant Corporation in a variety of senior financial roles, including vice president and treasurer, vice president of finance and administration of the Guidant Sales Corporation, and corporate controller and chief accounting officer.
