BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has promoted Trey White to vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer.

White’s new role includes responsibility for the accounting, external reporting, tax compliance and payroll functions of the company. He joined BlueCross in 2011 and was promoted to director of financial reporting in 2012.

Before joining BlueCross, White was employed by Ernst & Young as manager of assurance services.
