Global defense, security, and aerospace company, BAE Systems, has appointed Ian Graham as senior vice president and general counsel, effective immediately. He succeeds Sheila Cheston, who is leaving the company to pursue another opportunity.

In this role, Graham will oversee all legal matters associated with BAE Systems and its businesses, as well as the company's contracts, ethics, compliance, and export control functions. Graham most recently served as vice president and deputy general counsel for BAE Systems. He joined the company in 2007 through the acquisition of Armor Holdings, where he was senior vice president and general counsel.
