Archer Technologies, a provider of enterprise governance, risk, and compliance solutions, has announced the appointment of John Pironti as the company's chief information risk strategist. In this role, Pironti will consult with Fortune 1000 executives on IT-GRC and information security issues and initiatives, evangelize product concepts in the marketplace to gather feedback, and collaborate with Archer's product experts to translate industry needs into technology solutions.

With more than 18 years of experience as a consulting practice leader, Pironti is a veteran in helping global organizations develop leading information security, risk management, business resiliency, and information technology strategies and programs. Prior to joining Archer, Pironti served as president for IP Architects LLC, chief information risk strategist, and practice director for CompuCom, and principal enterprise solution architect for Unisys and Genuity.

Pironti has been designing and implementing highly secure, mission-critical, globally oriented business solutions for nearly two decades, serving the aerospace, energy, financial services, government, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, media and entertainment, publishing, and telecommunications industries.
