The Aquila Group of Funds, a bonds and funds company, has appointed Randall Fillmore as chief compliance officer. He will serve in this capacity for the Aquila Group of Funds, Aquila Investment Management and Aquila Distributors, collectively the Aquila Entities. He assumes this position from Bob Driessen, who is retiring.

In his new role, Fillmore will oversee the company's comprehensive compliance programs and help develop various policies and procedures.

With over 29 years of experience in the investment regulatory field, Fillmore most recently served as managing director of Fillmore & Associates, a compliance and risk management consulting firm that he founded in 2009. He also served for nine years as former fund and adviser CCO for the Schwab Funds and Charles Schwab Investment, respectively.  Previously, he served in various senior-level positions at PwC for 17 years, including information systems risk management, investment management audit and business advisory services.
