Applied Minerals, a global producer of Halloysite Clay, has appointed William Gleeson as general counsel.

With more than 40 years experience practicing securities, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions law, Gleeson began his legal career as a litigator with the SEC, specializing in accounting cases. Prior to joining the Company, he was a partner at K&L Gates for eleven years, focusing on various areas of corporate law. For the last three years he served as Applied Minerals' outside counsel, a time during which he acquired an in-depth understanding of the company's business.
