Altegrity, a provider of information and intelligence solutions, has appointed Carole Yanofsky as vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer. In this role, Yanofsky will develop and enhance compliance systems and processes across all of Altegrity's companies.

Prior to joining Altegrity, Yanofsky served as director of the office of compliance and risk management at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). During her time there, she was responsible for developing and implementing the compliance and risk management programs. She previously served as assistant general counsel at the PCAOB, where she advised the board and all divisions and offices on legal and policy issues.

Prior to the PCAOB, Yanofsky served as a litigation attorney at law firms Zuckerman Speader and London & Mead. She specialized in white-collar criminal and civil enforcement matters, commercial litigation and government ethics and compliance matters. She began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable Henry Kennedy, superior court of the District of Columbia.
