Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America has promoted Andreas Graser to senior vice president of the corporate risk management department. Graser currently serves as chief risk officer, leading enterprise risk management and providing counsel for the Allianz operating group on all risk-relevant topics.

Prior to joining Allianz Life in 2007, Graser held senior leadership roles at Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., including vice president of planning and head of commercial business finance.

Graser joined Allianz SE in 2000 as controller with Allianz AG Holding Group in the planning and controlling department, responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance of Allianz SE operating entities including Allianz Life, Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., Allianz Global Risks U.S. Insurance Co., and Mondial Assistance Group (now known as Allianz Global Assistance).

Previously, Graser was an analyst with Dresdner Bank (now Commerzbank), where he was a member of the risk methodology department for the bank's trading activities.
