Actiance this week released its next-generation flagship product Vantage 2013.

Powered by the Actiance Governance Platform, Vantage 2013 allows organizations to manage security, retention, and compliance policies for a wide range of communications channels, including, enterprise social software, public instant messaging networks and unified communications, from a single platform.

Highlights of Actiance Vantage 2013 include:

Capturing Lync VoIP calls, regardless of the location of the call.  This feature satisfies recent regulations in both the U.S. and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) that require the capture and archiving of voice.

Extending support for Microsoft Lync 2013 with compliance, security, and management controls for Instant Messaging, Voice, and Persistent chat.  The result enables smoother Lync rollouts by removing the compliance barrier and mitigating the risk of costly sanctions for erroneous record keeping.

Providing real-time capture of Jive events, including posted, modified, or deleted content across blogs, discussions, documents, ideas, direct messages, status updates, comments, and attachments to improve employee productivity while remaining compliant.

Directly archiving to Symantec Enterprise Vault to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and corporate governance guidelines. Vantage 2013 captures conversations in context making the e-Discovery process quicker.

Supporting IBM Connections 4.5, allowing companies a smoother transition to Connections by removing compliance roadblocks while ensuring they meet all regulatory, legal and corporate governance requirements.

Actiance's Vantage 2013 reduces the risk of litigation and regulatory fines with the capture and retention of conversations regardless of the communication channel used. This capability allows companies to adhere to the strictest compliance, regulatory and governance requirements, including Dodd-Frank, regulations under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and more.
