ACL has announced the launch of ACL GRC, a first-of-its-kind data-driven, cloud-based governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) solution, designed to deliver value across the organization by integrating risk management objectives with data-driven analysis and decision making.

The solution replaces shared-drive and fragmented technology approaches to GRC management, while promoting best practices, communication and alignment of disparate GRC functions across the organization.

Traditional audit roles are expanding to risk and compliance, creating a need for GRC technology to support operational and risk management, compliance functions, and internal audit. “Bridging the current gaps between these lines of defense is critical to improving communication and integrating GRC activities across an organization," said Richard Chambers, president and CEO of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

ACL GRC capabilities specifically allow organizations to:

Perform enterprise-wide risk assessments to drive mitigation efforts across all risk and control groups;

Efficiently plan and organize engagements for all audit, risk and compliance management programs, through to execution and reporting, including global tracking and reporting of issues; and

Share and manage data analysis results from ACL Analytics, drive remediation activities and track outcomes, enabling informed, data-driven risk assessment, prioritization and decision making.

ACL GRC enables remote and mobile users to stay productive through its innovative smartphone and tablet interfaces. ACL GRC also supports data-driven decision making through integration with ACL Analytics, a powerful, cost-effective data analysis tool, linking transaction level information to corporate level risks. The new offering will integrate with server-based ACL Analytics Exchange to enable continuous risk monitoring.
