$1.2 billion office products company Acco Brands has announced the retirement of one of its board members, and the nomination of two more.

Retiring from the board is Patricia Ewers. Ewers, 74, was not nominated for re-election because she has reached the board's mandatory retirement age, the company said. She has served on the Acco board since it became a public company in August 2005.

In other news, Acco has nominated Kathleen Dvorak and Sheila Talton for election as directors at the company's 2010 annual shareholders meeting. Dvorak is executive vice president and CFO of electronic components company, Richardson Electronics. Talton is the vice president of the office of globalization for Cisco Systems.

Their elections bring the total size of Acco's board to nine members.
